and the front plackets were constructed from portions of the feedsack border that I separated from the batting and backing

One-of-a-Kind: Farmer's Daughter Cropped Coat vest then dried in the sunThis cropped coat is made from a late 1800's quilt that is both hand pieced and quilted in a Farmer's Daughter pattern, and features antique brass snaps and handwarmer style front pockets. Please note that this is a different pattern from the Chore Coat, and while similar, has a less exaggerated drop shoulder and a slightly slimmer arm and overall silhouette. This quilt is overall very good condition for it's age. It is possible it shows its age in
