Animal Club supports high-quality, inclusive education through hands-on, curriculum-linked animal workshops aligned with the English National Curriculum, particularly Science, PSHE, and Citizenship.
Our sessions support pupils in developing substantive scientific knowledge about animals, including classification, life processes, habitats, adaptation, and food chains. Alongside this, pupils build disciplinary knowledge through observation, questioning, comparison, and evidence-based discussion. This encourages children to think and work like scientists, rather than simply memorising facts.
Through direct, age-appropriate interaction with animals, pupils gain meaningful real-world understanding of animal biology and responsible care. These experiences transform abstract classroom concepts into tangible learning, supporting curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking across a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
Animal Club also supports broader social learning. Our workshops contribute to PSHE and Citizenship by fostering respect for living beings, awareness of shared responsibility, and understanding of how individual actions affect animals, communities, and the environment. This helps schools address key themes such as responsibility, compassion, and social responsibility in a memorable and engaging way.

Animal Club is committed to inclusive education that is accessible, supportive, and welcoming to children from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and communities.
We work with mainstream schools, special schools, community groups, care settings, and public events to ensure that meaningful learning experiences with animals are available to as many people as possible. Sessions are adapted to meet a wide range of needs, including SEND settings.
We are mindful of the financial pressures faced by schools, particularly in the context of rising costs. Our pricing model is designed to offer strong value for money, enabling schools to provide a high-quality educational experience without placing additional strain on limited budgets. In many cases, per-pupil costs can be as low as £2.50*, based on a full-day school visit including travel.

Animal Club supports responsible consumption and production through the way we design, deliver, and price our educational experiences.
By bringing workshops directly to schools and community settings, we reduce the need for resource-intensive school trips and enable schools to access high-quality learning in a more efficient and sustainable way. Our delivery model prioritises shared, whole-school experiences, allowing large numbers of pupils to benefit from a single visit while minimising unnecessary travel, materials, and cost.
Our pricing structure is transparent and designed to support responsible budget management. Per-pupil costs are calculated by dividing the total booking cost by the number of participants, helping schools clearly understand value for money and plan responsibly.
Through our workshops, pupils also learn about responsible care, ethical treatment of animals, and how everyday choices impact animals, ecosystems, and wider society. These lessons reinforce the importance of responsible behaviour at both an individual and collective level.

Animal Club contributes to climate action through both sustainable delivery and climate-aware education.
By bringing animal experiences directly to schools and community settings, we reduce the need for off-site visits that often require multiple coach or car journeys. This helps lower transport-related emissions while also reducing costs and logistical challenges for schools.
Our use of regional Animal Club rangers further limits long-distance travel, supporting a lower-emissions delivery model compared with centralised or venue-based provision. This approach benefits the environment while maintaining high-quality educational delivery across the UK.
Climate awareness is embedded within our educational content. Through learning about habitats, ecosystems, biodiversity, and animal adaptation, pupils develop an early understanding of how climate change affects the natural world and why protecting ecosystems is essential. These discussions are age-appropriate, practical, and rooted in care and responsibility rather than fear-based messaging.
