Animal Club Rangers

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">LAURA</h2><p class="">Laura is the original Ranger, the first to join the ranks back in 2016. Her menagerie of animals is impressive and her passion for them even more so.</p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>I love that I can work with my animals all day and help people overcome their fears and uncertainties around them. I’ve had animals all my life and am drawn to rescue animals. This role just means I can rescue even more! </div><label class="lbla1">Which of your animals has the cheekiest character?</label><div>Tiddles, my tortoise. He loves to chase the dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs around the garden, nipping them on the bum if he gets chance. </div><label class="lbla1">What’s the animal fact which still astounds you?</label><div>Snails lay their eggs through their neck! And will hold onto them, if the place isn’t right to lay, only laying as them they’re hatching</div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">KAM</h2><p class="">Graduating with a degree in Zoo Management, Kam knew their passion was to teach others about the wonders of the animal world.</p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>There’s something special about introducing animals to children (and adults) and seeing their first interactions. I’ve had pets all my life but sharing them with others is fun and great to share my love for them. </div><label class="lbla1">Which is your funniest animal?</label><div>My Hognose snake, Noodle. He likes to drink with his whole body in the water bowl; taking a bath whilst he drinks. At home, when he does it, we call it Noodle soup!</div><label class="lbla1">Tell us an animal fact which will amaze us</label><div>Leopard gecko tails are amazing. Not only can they store food in them and use them to communicate, if they’re in danger they can make parts of them drop off! </div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">REBECCA</h2><p class="">Growing up around animals; both her parents and grandparents kept livestock, meant that Rebecca’s admiration of the animal world started very young.</p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>When I realised I could work with my exotic animals very day I was over the moon. It’s my prefect role. I really enjoy helping people understand these amazing creatures better. And believe if more people loved animals the world would be a better place. </div><label class="lbla1">Who’s your naughtiest animal?</label><div>Most definitely Boo, my boa. When I’m holding her she likes to get her tail into my back pocket and steal my phone. She’s so strong so I struggle to get it back off her before she drops it on the floor! </div><label class="lbla1">Tell us an animal fact we won’t know</label><div>Tarantulas have a paw on each leg. And each paw has two, tiny retractable claws (like a cat’s) that help them to climb. </div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">Libby</h2><p class=""></p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>I have a lot of experience with animals from working within stables and also breeding small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. I just love sharing how wonderful animals are with others.</div><label class="lbla1">What’s your favourite animal &amp; why?</label><div>It’s got to be a turtle. They are elegant, peaceful but also absolutely beautiful. </div><label class="lbla1">Tell us a funny story about one of your animals</label><div>Our (mine &amp; Jake’s) tortoise Squirtle was so small when she was a baby. She used to eat her food by getting inside her bowl and becoming a Squirtle Salad! </div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">Jake</h2><p class=""></p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>I’ve previously worked within falconry. And adore animals. Becoming a Ranger means I can share my passion. </div><label class="lbla1">What’s your favourite animal &amp; why?</label><div>My favourite animal is the wolf because they never leave one of their own behind and always work together as a team. </div><label class="lbla1">Tell us a funny story about one of your animals</label><div>Our (mine &amp; Libby’s) tortoise Squirtle was so small when she was a baby. She used to eat her food by getting inside her bowl and becoming a Squirtle Salad! </div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">Fearne</h2><p class="">I studied an animal management course at college to help pursue a career with animals. Becoming an Animal Club Ranger is the prefect next step. </p><label class="lbla1">What’s your favourite animal?</label><div> I am a lover of all animals. Big, small, fluffy, scaley, they&#039;re all great to me! So, it’s hard to pick a favourite. My dream pet would be a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I think they are absolutely gorgeous! </div><label class="lbla1">What’s your favourite animal fact?</label><div> Snakes have skin between their scales which helps them stretch out if they eat a large meal or are gravid (have eggs or babies inside them). </div><label class="lbla1"></label><div></div></div>

<div class="prsntr_descr"><h2 class="pophd">Elisha</h2><p class="">From seeing dolphins swim in the wild to meeting rhinos and red pandas up close, I’ve been fascinated by all kinds of animals. My qualifications in animal management, canine dental care, laser therapy, and dog grooming gave me the skills to work with them safely.</p><label class="lbla1">Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?</label><div>I would love to have a sugar glider. They’re small, playful, and really social, and I think it would be amazing to watch their quirky behaviours up close and learn all the little things that make them unique.</div><label class="lbla1">What would be your dream pet?</label><div>Chinchillas have fur so dense that they can’t get wet! Their fur is really dense so water can’t penetrate it. They are basically wearing a super fluffy, waterproof coat!</div><label class="lbla1">Tell us an animal fact we won’t know</label><div></div></div>
