Animal Club Awards 2025 – Terms and Conditions

  • Award Name: Animal Club Awards 2025
  • Organiser: Animal Club, part of Service4Education Group
  • Purpose: The Animal Club Awards 2025 aim to reward schools in the UK that demonstrate exceptional support for inclusivity and diversity in animal and environment-related learning.
  • Eligibility: Nominees must be schools located in the United Kingdom. Nominees must grant permission for Animal Club to use the school’s name for promotional and advertising purposes, including the use of photos for promotional materials while adhering to safeguarding regulations. Winners will be required to share their experience on their school website and/or blog, including a live link to animal-club.co.uk
  • Nomination Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by 12 December 2025, 23:59 GMT.
  • Winners Announcement: Winners will be announced by 16 January 2026. The award must be redeemed by the end of the current academic year.
  • Submission Method: Nominations should be submitted online through animal-club.co.uk using the provided nomination form.
  • Nomination Fees: There are no costs or fees associated with the nomination process.
  • Nomination Process: Nominees should simply complete and submit the online nomination form. Review Panel: A panel of Animal Club employees, including individuals with previous teaching, science communication, and presenting experience, will review each nomination.
  • Multiple Nominations: Multiple nominations received and the detail provided will be considered in the review process.
  • Appeals: There is no appeal process for the panel’s decision.
  • Notification: Winners will be notified by 10 January 2026. Both the nominated school and the person who submitted the nomination will be contacted, if different. Criteria: Nominees should demonstrate their exceptional efforts to promote access and motivation for pupils to learn and study animal-themed topics.
  • Awards: Three Animal Club Friend Awards will be granted, with each winning school receiving a free full-day Animal Club visit. Each school will receive an award certificate to display. An Animal Club Hero Award will be granted, with the winner receiving the same as the Animal Club Friend Award, plus a £200 Amazon voucher to spend on animal/environment-related resources for the school.
  • Award Utilisation: Award winners may use the full-day Animal Club visit as they see fit. There is no monetary alternative. The school must ensure a suitable venue for the Animal Club visit. Animal Club visit to be taken during the same academic year awarded and within the Summer term, subject to availability.
  • Disqualification: Animal Club reserves the right to disqualify nominations that do not adhere to these terms and conditions.
  • Review Panel Decision: The decision of the review panel is final, and no disputes will be entertained unless a violation of these terms and conditions is found.
  • Data Protection: All data entered on the nomination form will be handled in accordance with Animal Club’s current privacy policy.
  • Acceptance Form: Award acceptance requires the nominated school to sign an award acceptance form, confirming their agreement to these terms and conditions and ensuring the protection of data and privacy.
