Why are you an Animal Club Ranger?
Being able to share up close the more exotic animals with people and help them learn more about these amazing animals.
Which is your cheekiest animal?
It has to be Hemlock, my young rook. He enjoys being in the aviary & flock with other birds but prefers spending time with us humans in the house. However, he also likes to cause trouble; poking holes in food bags, hiding toys in shoes and stealing anything we’re holding and flying onto the roof or into a high tree. Persuading him down to get that item back can take quite a while!
What’s your favourite animal fact?
Pigeons can recognise differences in patterns better than humans. Some have been trained to examine paintings and pick out the fake quicker than most art experts!
